Seller's guide: how to get paid without the risk of losing out

Step-by-step guide for the seller - create an offer, fix the terms, deliver, get paid and protect yourself in a dispute.

4 min readUpdated:

The seller creates an offer or accepts the buyer's offer, delivers, and gets the money when the buyer confirms receipt. The money is already in the contract, so you can see that payment is secured before you start work.

  1. Step 1

    Agree with the buyer

    Agree in advance:

    • what exactly you deliver and by what signs the obligations count as met;
    • the amount, currency and network;
    • the duration: 1, 7, 30 or 90 days - a realistic one with some margin, because after it ends the buyer can take the money back;
    • the guarantor and their rates.

    Write everything down. The document can be fixed in the deal as a fingerprint - giving both sides and the guarantor an unchangeable reference point.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare your wallet

    Connect the wallet and pick the right network. The seller does not deposit the deal amount - the buyer does. But the wallet needs a little of the network's main coin (ETH, POL or BNB) to pay the fee for your signatures.

  3. Step 3

    Create the offer

    Press "Create a deal" and choose "I am selling". Go through the wizard:

    1. Terms. Buyer's address, network, currency, amount, duration. You immediately see what you receive after fees.
    2. Guarantor. Pick from the list or enter your own address. Set the base and dispute rates: each at least 1%, base up to 10%, dispute up to 30% and not below base.
    3. Review. Check the split and send the offer.

    If the buyer created the deal and already deposited, you only need to accept it - skip this step.

  4. Step 4

    Fix and save the terms

    If you added terms, the wizard computes the document's fingerprint. Before sending, download the terms file or tick that you have a copy - the send button stays inactive otherwise. The service stores only the fingerprint, and a lost document cannot be recovered.

    Send the buyer the document itself: they paste it into the check box and confirm the fingerprint matches.

  5. Step 6

    Deliver

    When the buyer accepts and deposits, the deal becomes active and the clock starts. The deal page shows status, deadline and what you need to do.

    Fulfil your obligations and keep proof: conversations, invoices, screenshots, tracking numbers. If it comes to a dispute you give these to the guarantor.

  6. Step 7

    Get paid

    When the buyer presses "Confirm receipt" the payout goes to your wallet automatically, in the same transaction. You receive the deal amount minus the platform's 1% and the guarantor's base rate.

    Example: a 1,000 USDT deal with a 1% base rate. The platform takes 10, 990 remain, the guarantor gets 9.90, you get 980.10.

  7. Step 8

    If the buyer is silent or a dispute arises

    If the buyer does not confirm receipt you have three options:

    1. Agree to cancel. "Propose cancellation" - if the buyer agrees too, the money returns to them minus fees.
    2. Open a dispute. "Open a dispute" - the guarantor you chose in advance decides. Give them the terms document and proof of delivery.
    3. Do nothing - and that is a risk. After the deadline either side can return the money to the buyer.

    If the guarantor gives no ruling within 30 days, the money splits 50/50 and the guarantor earns nothing.

  8. Step 9

    If the payout did not arrive

    If the transfer to your address fails (for example the address is blocked by the token issuer, or it is a contract that rejects payments), the deal still closes and the amount stays in the contract. A banner "The money did not reach your wallet" appears - press "Withdraw" and the funds are sent out.
